Sanmar Backs AltEons in Major 1.5 GW Renewable Energy Takeover

The Sanmar Group has acquired a majority stake in renewable energy platform AltEons Energy to back the development of over 1.5 GW of clean power projects across India. Targeting Corporate and Industrial (C&I) clients, AltEons builds integrated round-the-clock (RTC) power solutions utilizing solar, wind, battery energy storage, and advanced energy management systems. The funding will accelerate AltEons' current 210 MW hybrid renewable energy portfolio under construction in Maharashtra—incorporating wind, solar, and storage—to serve energy-intensive sectors like manufacturing, automotive, data centers, and industrial engineering.
